Nordic's and Aesirs.

Nordic cards are based off of Nordic mythology. This is true due to the fact that with a little searching an a lot of patience you can find all of these cards in Nordic mythology. Or at least the names. This deck can be a swarm deck, a beatdown deck, or a simple fun deck. Depending on how you build it you can have different versions of the same deck. Sorry for the hard to pronounce names in advance. If it makes you feel better i can't pronounce most of them myself.

Strengths

This deck has a lot of versatility too it. Cards like Mara of the Nordic Alfar make it easy to synchro summon many monsters. I'll focus on the Aesir synchros for this profile. Mara makes it so that using her you can synchro using two monsters from your hand. So you can use her and two non tuner monster from your hand such as Ljosalf and Garmr. Mara can really only summon Loki due to her being a Nordic Alfar monster. The Nordic Lights make it so that Nordic monsters can't be destroyed by battle. Nordic Relic Mjollnir lets one of your monsters attack twice for that battle phase. Nordic Relic Laevateinn destroys one monster that destroyed a monster this turn. So if say scrap dragon destroyed your Mara it is destroyed as long as you activate the trap. Nordic Relic Gungnir is a trap that if you banish a face-up Nordic or Aesir monster you control let's you destroy one card your opponent controls. Making Marshmellon and Spirit reaper no problem.

Weaknesses

Mara can only be used as a synchro material using her effect so if you need a level two tuner and you have two level 4 monsters on the field either have some compulsory evacuation devices ready, or wait for another tuner. If the Nordic Lights is destroyed, all face-up Nordic monsters are destroyed. Oh yeah all 3 of the Aesir monsters are level 10 but their atk makes up for it. Odin as the strongest has 4000 atk, Thor has 3500 atk being the second strongest and the weakest is Loki with only 3300 atk. One final note most of the Nordic monsters have low atk.

i wouldnt depend only on nordic cards
i dont like nirdic light nor the fact that you use only nordic monsters
i havent used this deck and i dont mean its bad
i would make some changes however this is an oponion and nothing more
if you like the deck the way it is then you are good

this is for BASIC deck builds not custom ready to duel style deck builds... we post a basic build and it gives a basis for someone to make there own after seeing it and haveing a general place to start b4 adding in there own style.. take lightsworn for example.. a basic build u got nothing but lightsworn by my personal build i added lightray. ^.^
