Academy Rules and Regulations
1. No sexual harassment of any nature of any nature or kind. People get sued for those actions.
2. No swearing. Keep in mind that there WILL be children on this site. Language is something one should use with discretion. Blatant swearing will result in the usual reprimands.
3. The punishment system
verbal
1 verbal warning
2 one day ban
3 IP ban(aka perm ban)
sexual harassment
1 verbal
2. one day ban
3 IP ban(aka perm ban)
cheating
1 one day ban
2 IP ban(aka perm ban)
attendence
1 (one month) demotion if in red removed
2 (2 months) demotion if in red removed
3 (3 months) without a understandable excuse removed
4. hierarchy
headmaster= darkest hour (color yet to be decided)
teachers= We are the admins and each is in charge of there respective dorm. (white color)
vice teachers = the assistants to teachers they can test and help control the students when the teacher is away or involved and a outside presence is needed they they respond to headmaster and the teachers of there dorm
headmasters assistance=in charge of site maintenance and changes to the site
blue dorm= We are the students who represent us in war and tournaments for the academy. (blue color)
yellow dorm= We are the average duelists who need refinement and experience to join the blue dorm. (yellow color)
red dorm= We are the ones that have the least experience but have the best teacher to ask for help and to learn. (red color)
unrated= We are the ones that haven't been placed in a dorm, and thus have no rank whatsoever and are simply waiting to join a dorm by being tested. (green color)
5. Only teachers, headmaster, vice teachers can test for dorms. It is their job.
6. Each teacher is in charge of their dorm .
Red teacher is in charge of the least experienced students, despite being the best teacher. This reason is because they need the most help. Sometimes, it's because they don't know the rules or are new to the game. It's the teacher's job to help all those in red dorm with this so they can progress.
Yellow teacher is in charge of the average students. They most likely need refinement and help to sharpen their skills, to eventually progress into blue dorm.
Blue teacher is in charge the best and the elite of our academy. They are in this dorm for a reason. The students have earned their spot or have shown significant skill. These are the people that will represent our academy in tournaments or wars. It's the dorm teacher's job to keep their skills sharp and help them improve their skills. Also, this is the one of 2 people who can chose who goes to war or tournaments to represent our guild with our headmaster.
7. White dorm is for teachers and headmaster ONLY. It's for us to discuss what needs to be done or changes that needs to be made.
8. To be promoted, one has to be tested by a request in the testing request topic and can only be tested to improve a dorm up (or if you do badly, a dorm down).
Red dorm = Lack of knowledge of rules or basic experience to play the game
Yellow dorm=
Promoted to
1. have at least one meta deck and 3 other decks of any nature.
2. have basic experience of the rules and knowledge of the actual rule book (the one that comes in the boxes).
3. have shown themselves to be able to beat a custom deck by the tester in a 2/3 match.
Demoted from
1. showing little to no improvement in 2 months.
2. having no attendance for 2 months.
3. the results of the punishments.
Blue dorm=

1. have 3 of any combination of meta, anti-meta, or a custom on par with a meta (pure syncro decks is a example).
2. have at least three of the current tier 1 or 2 meta handy.
3. have experience on how to play and beat all current top tier decks.
4. have passed a test where your opponent (teacher) is using a current meta deck and win a 2/3 match.
5. have shown the knowledge and skills to represent the guild in blue dorm.
6. have shown the ability to listen to your dorm teachers, as well as good attendance (excusing RL issues).
7. have been in at least one tournament before (RL or on DN with proof if possible).

1. due to have shown skills more on par with yellow or red dorm.
2. due to the failure to keep up with current meta decks.
3. due to the punishment system.
4. due to the failure to attend a war you have been asked to join and with no information prior to you not being able to attend.
